 Job Description 

Purpose of the job: The Rib Grill position functions as an intermediary for Push and Pull. The Rib Gill cook is responsible for cooking fresh seafood and ribs and maintaining constant communication with the Push and Pull stations on the line.

Job Tasks 

Essential Function Statement(s)

• Complies with all portion sizes, quality standards, rules, policies, and department procedures.

• Grill all the ribs.

• Cook all seafood.

• Ensures ribs are cooked right away.

• Follow the rib cooking recipe from start to finish.

• Meets all cooking time standards for melted items.

• Understand the cost of food.

• Restock rib station items throughout the shift.

• Understand caramelization. This is the most important part of the grilled rib station.

• Communicates with the line and follows up on callbacks.

• May be responsible for Prime Rib cutting.

• Understands equipment usage and calibration.

• Set up and disassemble the station according to the proper guidelines.

• Maintains adequate standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the shift.

• Maintains adequate uniform and hygiene standards at all times.

• The ability to have fun at work!
