Job Description
Responsible for all fried dishes prepared in the Texas Roadhouse kitchen. Portion and prepare foods before cooking, such as breaded chicken, blossoms, and fries. Other tasks may include preparing dough or breading and plating and garnishing food.
Job Tasks

• Adheres to all portion sizes, quality standards, rules, policies, and procedures of the department.
• Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
• French fries, empanadas or battered potatoes.
• Fried dishes along with the right side dish.
• Selects and uses knives, hand tools, utensils, and equipment to portion, cut, slice, dip, batter, bread, whisk, maintain temperature, fry, or otherwise produce food at the frying station.
• Must have a general knowledge of the bell system.
• Understands the oil life filtration and rotation program.
• Ensures a consistent and legendary product is served to every guest.
• Demonstrates teamwork and communication with all areas of the line.
• Adheres to hot oil removal procedures and discards properly in the grease pit.
• Adheres to all backdoor security policies.
• Complete line cleanings throughout the shift.
• Maintains proper standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the shift.
• Completes breakdown and special cleaning responsibilities every night.
• Maintains proper uniform and hygiene standards at all times.
• The ability to have fun at work.

• Ability to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace.
