Job Description
Properly wash and store all plates, trays, eating utensils, cups, and small equipment for the BOH. Maintains the dish room and dishwasher hygienically and efficiently.
Job Tasks
Declaration(s) of essential functions
• Wash and store all dishes, trays, utensils, cups, and small equipment in the appropriate places for BOH.
• Keeps the dish area clean and sanitized.
• Check the machine to make sure it is working properly and report any defects immediately.
• Change the water every 2 hours in the dishwasher.
• Check the water temperature during dishwasher operation to ensure the right temperature.
• Change disinfectant buckets every 4 hours.
• Proper installation and use of the 3-base sink for heavily soiled items.
• Understands the use of each chemical and the proper ratio.
• Remove all trash from the dish area and place it in the trash bin.
• Clean and disinfect trash cans and reline all cans.
• Responsible for the cleaning of the parking lot.
• Adheres to backdoor security policies at all times.
• Communicates with the kitchen about their needs.
• Disassemble and properly clean the dishwasher and dish area at the end of the shift.
This includes polishing, removing paper, and washing the inside with a hose.
• The ability to have fun at work.

Compensation starting at $11.00/hour.
